Hello, my name is Maria Jackson.  I am the Museum Program Assistant at the Arkansas Post Museum State Park in Gillett, Arkansas, which is located in southeast Arkansas.  I am a Certified Interpretive Guide with the National Association for Interpretation.  I have worked at the museum since 2002.  I offer a variety of historic programming including; "The Well Dressed Lady:  Ladies 19th Century Clothing,”  "My Life in 1877:  A Woman’s Perspective,” and other hands-on programming.   The museum holds an annual Civil War encampment every January, as well as numerous historic programs and special events. A full listing of these events can be found at ArkansasStateParks.com in the Calendar of Events section. For more information, please contact the museum.
